Excellent value for money, staff were brilliant, reception staff and breakfast room staff were very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was one of best breakfasts we’ve had- so much choice it was amazing as you didn’t feel like the mornings were repetitive as there was so much choice you could have something different each day. Hotel was clean and decor impressive in the lobby & breakfast room. Rooms were nice too - was lovely to have a bath which is something lots of hotels don’t offer any more but was nice especially with the weather being so cold at this time of year. The hotel is committed to being environmentally friendly and this means that rooms are only cleaned if you request them to be, things like extra towels can be requested too if you just need extra rather than a full room clean, this is great as an effort to be more environmentally friendly, with us staying only a few nights this was absolutely fine for us and we didn’t require any room keeping. Copenhagen itself we found to be lovely, really clean city, lovely people and lots of nice sights to see and shops and eateries to enjoy. We would like to come back at a different point in the year to see Tivoli gardens as they were shut at the minute for off season. Excellent hotel exceeded expectations. Excellent location. Fridge kettle etc in the room was nice and useful - room well equipped.

It is a stylish comfortable hotel, nicely located and surrounded by numerous grocery shops and bars. The hotel itself has a nice restaurant, obviously popular with the locals. My room was very comfortable and quiet despite the fact it was facing the square. Very good sound insolation and super-comfortable bed enabled me to have a very good night sleep. You have to book your breakfast time to avoid overcrowding and I didn't mind it at all. My tip - come to breakfast before 7.30 to avoid queues. At the left end of the street, where the hotel is located, there is a very nice gastro-bar "Oscar", where you can buy beer and traditional Danish snacks at an affordable price - highly recommend that bar. The hotel is not cheap but you know what you are paying for. Besides, what is cheap in Denmark))!

Room was great. It was very large, and well, but sparsely, furnished. It had everything we needed, including a walk-in wardrobe, room safe, and comfortable seating. Even although it overlooked the square which was a hive of activity, the secondary windows kept any noise low. Overall, excellent. Breakfast, as reported by many, was superb and catered well for the international guests in residence. Coffee was an early morning joy. What was obviously a one-time grand hotel, now catering for today's traveler.

We had a king room with city view. Room was quite large. Bathroom and shower were huge. Bed was comfy. Breakfast had nice variety (although the breakfast area was a bit crowded- it was necessary to reserve a timeslot the day before to be seated right away- the hotel was at full capacity while we were there) Staff was pleasant. Room housekeeping was at request- not daily. This is a plus for me, as long as there are enough towels and coffee in the room, which there were.

Regina

The location was exceptional--right across the street from the beautiful city hall. Our room had balcony which overlooked the city hall steps where we could watch the many couples coming to be married. The room's layout was unique and perfect for two women traveling together--with two separate bathroom areas--one with a commode and sink and the other with a shower and sink. The breakfast was ample, unique and generally delicious. The staff was also accommodating.
